I am really not sure if I can contain my excitement at this point!
I am so happy to finally connect a blog to the rabbit site. I have another blog that will be joining later on when I get the files transferred. I will share that so if you are interested you can see other happenings around here, as well as rabbit stuff that I wrote over there before starting this – like stuff about our local fair and bunnies that are born in the barn, etc.
Our family has been raising Netherland Dwarf rabbits for a combined total of 17 years. Our children have shown rabbits over the years. When my older children were younger and were showing in youth, one showed Netherland Dwarfs and the other showed Mini Rex. We sold out of Mini Rex several years ago to concentrate on Netherland Dwarfs. I raised rabbits as a teenager and showed them in local fairs.
Our youngest now has a couple of Jersey Woolys since one of her Netherland’s popped a fuzzy dwarf out – it peaked her interest and she got a couple of wooly’s to tinker with.
