Homeschool
Affidavits
In Pennsylvania, for children who are 8 and older or have attended first
grade in the school system, the supervisor (or parent) is responsible for
filing an affidavit.
This affidavit should be simple and comply with Pennsylvania law,
nothing more, nothing less.
Our affidavits are simple and to the point. We will make affidavits to suit
your needs. We list all children on one affidavit, so that you do not need
to file more than one or pay for more than one. We offer pre-printed
affidavits with your personal information (all you need to do is sign) or
fill in the blank.
Notary Policy
Unless we have worked with you
or know you personally - You will
be asked for a driver’s license to
prove identification.
We charge the state allowed fee for our notary
public service.
We will not notarize any documents that are legally
questionable.
We also will not notarize a document for a person
who can not provide some form of accepted
identification.
This would jeopardize our commission with the
state as a notary public.
While you may be able to access a notary public’s
services for free at your bank or insurance company,
we can not provide our notary public services for
free, because this is a main part of our business.
We pay our state & county fees for the commission,
as well as our bonds, insurance & education and are
not selling another service to pay for these
expenses.
Some History
We also offer assistance to you with objectives
(also simple & to the point) as well as other
simple forms you need to comply with the law in
Pennsylvania. We have 16 years of
homeschooling experience, homeschooling our
own children (2 homeschool graduates) and
complying with PA law and we were the
Coordinators of the York Home School
Association for 4 years, volunteering our time to
serve the homeschool community from 2002-
2006. During that time we were actively involved
with the group, not only serving as Coordinators,
but also filling in with various other needs the
group had, such as newsletter editor for a 24-32
page monthly newsletter for 18 months,
database manager for 12 months during that
same time.
We stepped away from the group in 2006 to not
only expand our family, but also to expand our
business, but we still very much have a heart for
homeschoolers and their needs.
We are not judgemental, in that, we don't believe
homeschooling is for everyone and that every
individual family must make the decision that is
right for their own family and their individual,
unique needs.
